Holocaust Education in Lithuania: Community, Conflict, and the Making of Civil Society

My book explores the intersection of Holocaust education policy and teacher identities in post-Soviet Lithuania. It is based on eight years of comparative research in three countries and nineteen cities, and it finds that teaching about the Holocaust is both a personal and political battleground.

Awarded Honorable Mention for the 2018 AABS Book Prize. The review committee noted that the book “makes an original, comprehensive and significant contribution to the analysis and evaluation of Holocaust education in Lithuania, based on extensive fieldwork and building on earlier publications.”
